The sound design is also commendable, with majestic orchestral music and realistic sound effects - such as the delightful pitter-patter of dragon feet as you walk. The fighting system is quite evolved for a beat-em-up, with strong and weak melee attacks, various magic spells, blocking, jumping (you can attack from the air), and grabbing.

Visually, the game lives up to its promise of current-generation gaming. The characters move with fluid animations, cutscenes look cinematic, and environments are beautiful. While the graphics may not reach Gears of War levels of detail, they are impressive and colorful, making the game feel magical in places.

The voice acting is also top-notch, featuring heavy hitters like Elijah Wood, Gary Oldman, Christina Ricci, Blair Underwood, Mark Hamill, and Wayne Brady. Each game follows Spyro as he explores a fantasy world, battling various foes along the way.
